AUBURN, AL- Bad reports continue to mount for EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. Now, it involves him using his staff as a food delivery service.

Four sources familiar with how the office functions told Daily Beast that Pruitt sent subordinates out frequently for both health and junk food.

“I can’t tell you how many times I was sent out to get protein bars on the orders of [Pruitt],” one person told The Daily Beast. Sources also say that Pruitt was very particular in his snack and coffee preferences- sending staff to get very specific items.

On top of using staff as glorified snack-fetchers, Pruitt also used staff to inquire about getting a used mattress from the Trump hotel and also about acquiring a Chick-fil-a franchise.

Part of reform is ensuring that our tax dollars don’t go toward the personal gain of elected officials and bureaucrats. But, clearly, Pruitt is abusing his taxpayer-funded staff- using them to fetch items and explore new acquisitions for him personally. This is wrong.
