Ryan Sanford

Ryan is currently a senior at Auburn University expecting to graduate in May 2020 with a degree in Communications. She has maintained an interest in politics since a young age and has constantly been exposed to the political arena. With many years of campaign experience both at the local and statewide level, Ryan has gained insight into the strategies behind campaigns as well as their makeup.

In 2018, Ryan join Governor Kay Ivey's campaign staff to help implement field strategy, recruit and manage volunteers across the state, as well as cover the North Alabama region and Southeast Alabama. Ryan continued on to Governor Kay Ivey's Inaugural Committee staff to plan and execute all of Governor Ivey's inaugural events including the Inaugural Prayer Service, Inaugural Parade, Inaugural Ceremony, and Inaugural Ball. After returning to school at Auburn University, Ryan was able to merge her interest for political campaigns and her studies of communications by helping to advance Take Back's social media, website, and overall social influence.

Ryan currently works as Take Back Our Republic's Digital Outreach Coordinator where she manages the organization's social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as designing and producing graphics for social media use. Ryan was lead coordinator on our current website redesign project where she helped plan, design, and execute our new site with outsourced companies.

Ryan's Why

"I support Take Back Our Republic because I believe it is imperative for Americans to understand our elections and the results that come of them. Take Back works to keep the power in the hands of 'We The People' and it is important to protect that principle with which our nation was built on."
