More than Impeachment: Steyer Now Funding Soros-Founded Immigrant PAC

AUBURN, AL- Liberal mega-donor Tom Steyer continues to expand his profile ahead of a possible 2020 presidential run.

The largest donor of the 2016 election cycle, he has already increased his national footprint with an 8-figure ad campaign aimed at impeaching President Trump. With ads featuring himself on camera, it is fair to speculate whether Steyer has his sights set on the highest office in the land.

Now, his efforts have expanded to funding the George Soros founded “Immigrant Voters Win PAC” which has the goal of expanding the electorate by 10 million voters.

This cycle, Steyer’s NextGen Climate Action Committee has contributed all but $19,000 of the PAC’s receipts. That remaining money came from the Center for Community Change Action, a progressive group that Steyer joined last year to help fund Ralph Northam’s campaign in Virginia.

These actions suggest that Steyer, who previously had environmental issues at the forefront of his efforts, is increasingly a hub of liberal activity- with a hand in funding numerous pet causes and placing himself front and center. His strategy and his money will be well worth tracking in the coming months and years.
