The New York Times recently quoted me for the perspective ofTake Back Our Republicon the growing power of small donors to counter balance mega donors. Click on this image for the entire story.
When we launched our efforts many doubted how small donors could offset mega donors. In less than a year, Take Back Our Republic overcame these doubts due to people like you building our state grassroots chapters, spreading our educational papers, talking to local press and contributing to Take Back Our Republic.
Now please consider contributing to our most important project to date, the publishing of the book, “Taxation Only With Representation: A Conservative Conscience and Agenda for Campaign Finance Reform,” by Dr. Richard Painter, a Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Minnesota who understands money in politics issues due to his past service asAssociate Counsel/chief ethics lawyer to President George W. Bush.
Please contribute today– your contribution will help us move the publishing process forward to meet a very tight timeline to have books in the hands of people we need thinking about these issues such as those attending the Republican and Democratic Presidential Caucuses in Iowa February 1. We will not seek to help or hurt any candidate, only introduce these important issues to supporters of EVERY candidate. If you can help us meet this deadline today, we are happy to send one of the first copies of the book for you. Your contribution will be DOUBLED via a pledge match.
For legal disclosures on our registration to raise funds in your state click here. (Note: Contributions to Take Back Our Republic are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, though the value of the book may impact the amount of your contribution that can be deducted).
Thank you for helping us continue to build on this success as we continue to research and educate the public on conservative solutions to campaign finance reform.
