AUBURN, AL- After highlighting Peter Schweizer’s commentary on Mitch McConnell and his wife, Elaine Chao, last week, a major political commentator is offering his insights.

Now, Erick Erickson is telling his tale of how power was used to keep him off Fox News. The conservative thought leader who now runs The Resurgent says that Roger Ailes conveyed to him back in 2014 that his support of Matt Bevin in a primary against Mitch McConnell would keep him off TV.
That decision made by Fox News was due to pressure from Elaine Chao, who did not like someone who was not supporting her husband being given air time.
Now, unless there is more to the story, neither Chao nor Fox News did anything illegal. But, this does highlight the politics of power that so corrupt the fabric of the country- especially when money gets involved.
What do you think? Do you believe Erickson’s story illustrates what is wrong with power politics? Or, is this nothing to be concerned about? Join the conversation at: https://www.facebook.com/takebackorg/.
