Dear TBOR Supporters:
We are open and still working at our objectives, however, the safety and health of our staff and their families are of the utmost importance.
We are following all CDC guidelines to make sure we can be helpful with slowing down the progress of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). These are the steps that we have taken to do our part to prevent community spread.
- We have allowed each staff member based in Auburn to work remotely
- Curtailed any TBOR sanctioned travel
While all businesses, non-profit or otherwise, face risks due to not being able to carry out proposed or committed projects that require public activities, TBOR is in a relatively strong position to continue our mission. We are focusing on staying top of mind due to excellent media coverage for our renewed call for a Virtual Congress to allow voting from home districts. You can read our latest op-ed by clicking here.
We are also looking for volunteers and coordinators during this time to help us with making important phone calls. This is an ideal opportunity for those civically-minded who find themselves at home with free time. We are calling our members to ask them what they believe are the most important reform issues we should be focusing on this election year. You can help us continue our mission during these uncertain times by clicking here to sign up.
We are monitoring the situation with COVID-19 each day to make sure we are responding appropriately. As soon as the situation improves, we will return to normal operations in Auburn and our projects in the field.
As leaders in our communities, it is our civic duty to work together for the betterment of our country. The next few weeks will be difficult times, it will take the best in all of us. Together we know America will be stronger for it.
